FLPC 2026: a whole day to talk about corruption, and that is good news

ComplianceCREW Luxembourg

On 15 October 2026, Luxembourg hosts the first edition of the Luxembourg Corruption Prevention Forum (Forum Luxembourgeois de la Prévention de la Corruption, FLPC) at Kinepolis Luxembourg. One full day, 25 international speakers, around 300 participants, and a single subject that now concerns every organisation.

A working meeting around a screen in the firm’s offices.

Some subjects people prefer to discuss in a small circle, in hushed voices, behind closed doors. Corruption is one of them.

The FLPC does exactly the opposite: one room, 300 people, simultaneous interpretation in French and English, and speakers who have spent their careers opening the doors that others would rather have kept shut.

Why an anti-corruption forum in Luxembourg

Luxembourg is an international financial centre. That means flows, structures and third parties in every jurisdiction, and therefore a natural exposure to the risks of corruption, money laundering and related offences. That is not a criticism; it is a market reality.

Until now, however, no national event had been devoted entirely to anti-corruption compliance. The FLPC fills that gap. It is run by LutCor ASBL, the non-profit association that brings together those committed to corruption prevention and compliance in the Grand Duchy.

And the timing is no accident. The new European anti-corruption framework will broaden what is expected of companies, whatever their size. Better to understand the rules before they apply than to discover they exist during an inspection.

Who will be there

For a first edition, the line-up is enough to make far older forums blush. Around the table: the OECD, the United Nations through the UNODC, the Council of Europe, INTERPOL, the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA), OLAF, the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, the UK Serious Fraud Office, the HATVP (France’s High Authority for Transparency in Public Life), Transparency International and Monaco’s Financial Security Authority.

Among the speakers, a few names that need no introduction in the field:

  • Michel Sapin, former French Minister for the Economy and Finance, whose Sapin II law transformed compliance in France;
  • Charles Duchaine, Inspector General of Justice and former director of the AFA;
  • Mark Pieth, founder of the Basel Institute on Governance;
  • Hanne Juncher, of the Council of Europe, former Executive Secretary of GRECO;
  • Rory Corcoran, of INTERPOL’s Financial Crime and Anti-Corruption Centre;
  • Neil J. Walsh, Executive Secretary of the UNODC’s GlobE Network;
  • Emma Isaac, of the UK Serious Fraud Office;
  • David Lewis, of Alvarez & Marsal, former Executive Secretary of the FATF;
  • Jean Maïa, President of the HATVP.

On the corporate side, BNP Paribas, Airbus and Kroll will bring the perspective of those who apply the rules every day, and not just in slide decks. Full list of speakers.

A word from the treasurer

As LutCor’s treasurer and co-organiser of the forum, I am the one who counts. The seats, mostly: there are about a hundred left, and they are going faster than training budgets at the end of the year.

This being a forum on corruption prevention, rest assured: tickets are sold at the advertised price, with no brown envelopes and no special arrangements. One small and entirely legal perk, however: with your ticket, LutCor membership drops to €50 instead of €150.

Whether you work in compliance, legal, risk, audit, finance or senior management, this is one for the diary. Book your seat at flpc.lu, and see you on 15 October.
